We can be multicultural as we have always been, but there is nothing wrong with being proud to be Australian as well

What was considered by the majority to be acceptable has changed and will continue to change. With this change comes a need to reassess how ‘the game’ is played. We all need to act and interact in a civil, polite, considerate, and I dare say, pleasant— even professional—manner.
Now that the doors are open, we as a society need to reassess the boundaries in a considerate, sensitive, mature manner. I dare say, when given a place at the table, behavioural etiquette should be considered.
With knowledge and preparation, future generations will be better-equipped to cope with and solve a lot of the issues we are struggling with today.
